The company was founded by Fabian Vega, a licensed yacht broker based in South Florida with extensive experience navigating the needs of boat owners both on and off the water. Through years of hands-on boating experience in South Florida and the Bahamas, marine.shop was created to solve a common problem: sourcing reliable, high-quality marine parts from trusted suppliers.

Marine.shop was founded by Fabian Vega, a licensed yacht broker at Champion Yacht Group (License Number 14296 - Yacht and Ship Salesperson or Broker), a boutique yacht brokerage based in South Florida. Marine.shop is independently owned and operated and is not affiliated with Champion Yacht Group.
Through his work advising yacht owners and buyers, Fabian developed a deep understanding of vessel systems, marine electronics, propulsion components, safety equipment, and onboard infrastructure. As a yacht owner himself with over 500 captain hours navigating Southeast Florida and the Bahamas, he understands the technical, operational, and practical realities of maintaining a vessel.
That operational exposure revealed a consistent issue:
