How long does order processing take?
Most in-stock orders placed before 12:00 PM EST on a business day ship the same day. All other in-stock orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays, unless otherwise noted on the product page or in your order confirmation.
How long does shipping take?
Standard Ground shipping ($11.99) typically delivers in 3–7 business days within the continental United States. 2nd Day shipping ($36.99) typically delivers in 1–2 business days. Transit times vary by carrier, destination, and product type, and delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.
How do oversized and freight shipments work?
Items over standard parcel limits (typically 150 lbs or requiring palletized freight, such as large trolling motors or multi-unit orders) ship via LTL truck freight at a flat rate of $299.99 within the continental United States. Freight orders dispatch on standard business days and typically deliver within 3–7 business days depending on destination and carrier. Curbside delivery is standard, and appointment scheduling may be required.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Tracking information is typically sent once the shipping label has been created and the shipment has been prepared for carrier pickup.
Can an order ship in multiple packages?
Yes. Some orders may ship in separate packages or from different supplier locations depending on product availability, warehouse location, or item size.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Some products may be eligible for shipment to P.O. boxes, but oversized, heavy, freight, or signature-required shipments generally cannot be delivered to P.O. boxes.
Do you require a signature on delivery?
Certain orders may require a signature, especially higher-value, freight, or special-order shipments.
What happens if a package is delayed by the carrier?
Carrier delays can occur due to weather, routing issues, demand surges, or operational disruptions. Once an order has shipped, transit timing is controlled by the carrier.
Can I request expedited shipping?
Yes. 2nd Day shipping is available at checkout for most items. Expedited service does not guarantee carrier performance after dispatch.
What if my package shows delivered but I cannot find it?
Please check around the delivery location, with building staff or neighbors, and then contact the carrier and marine.shop promptly so the shipment can be reviewed.
