Refund & Returns Policy (marine.shop)

Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of being placed. After 1 hour, orders enter processing and cancellation is no longer guaranteed. Final sale items (including freight-shipped products) cannot be cancelled once the order has entered processing. Return Eligibility
marine.shop accepts returns on most in-stock items within 15 days of delivery, provided the product meets the following conditions:

- Item must be brand-new, unused, unopened, and in resalable condition
- Item must be returned in the original factory packaging
- All accessories, manuals, and components must be included
- Product must show no signs of installation, mounting, programming, or use

Items that are not in original condition may be refused.

If marine.shop ships the wrong item, ships a defective item confirmed on inspection, or a shipment is lost due to our fulfillment error, marine.shop will arrange replacement, refund, or return shipping at no additional cost to the customer.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:

- Oversized or freight-shipped items (any product delivered by LTL / freight truck) — these are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged
- Software that has been opened, activated, registered, or downloaded
- Opened blister-pack items (or items with broken seals)
- Special-order or custom-configured products
- Clearance or final-sale items
- Electronics that have been installed, mounted, wired, paired, configured, or programmed

These restrictions align with common manufacturer and distributor standards.

Restocking Fees
No restocking fees. marine.shop does not charge restocking fees on eligible returns that meet the return conditions outlined above.

Return Authorization Required (RMA)
All returns require prior authorization. To request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), contact:

Returns sent without prior approval may be refused. Once approved, return instructions will be provided.

Return Shipping
- Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs (postage paid)
- Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable

marine.shop does not provide prepaid return labels unless required by law or explicitly approved in writing.

For orders shipped under flat-rate or promotional freight programs, marine.shop reserves the right to deduct the actual outbound shipping cost from the refund when the return is not due to error or defect.

Damaged or Defective Items
If an item arrives damaged or defective:

- Contact marine.shop within 48 hours of delivery
- Retain original packaging
- Provide photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label (if applicable)

Failure to report freight damage within the required timeframe may limit claim eligibility.

Most products may include manufacturer warranty coverage where offered by the brand and applicable through the product's authorized supply channel. Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer.

For defects reported within 15 days of delivery, marine.shop may offer an exchange or replacement, subject to manufacturer policies and product availability.

Inspection & Refund Processing
Once a return is received:

- Products are inspected for condition and completeness
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Refund processing time: 5–10 business days (bank processing times may vary)

marine.shop reserves the right to deny refunds for items that do not meet return criteria.

Manufacturer Warranties
Most products sold by marine.shop are backed by manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by brand and product type.

marine.shop facilitates warranty support but does not provide independent product warranties beyond those offered by manufacturers unless explicitly stated.
